I’m feeling very grateful these days for the “studio” space adjoining the apartment I moved into last Spring. It’s not a traditional or typical studio by any means, but it sure has been serving nicely as one this winter!
In previous winters, not having an indoor area to set up and shoot, my photography business had to go into hibernation somewhat. Business consisted of whatever indoor location shoots or events I was hired for, with more emphasis on the design and video aspects of my work.
This winter so far I’ve been able to take many jobs I would have had to turn down last year. Portraits, headshots and product shoots have all been made possible at my residence, and this represents a huge expansion in service for me. I feel my business growing daily.
Nothing beats being able to make a career out of doing something you love, and I’m grateful every day for this gift!
